Twinport: Businesspark Coriopolis
Sqippa applied in high-end offices Twinport
The Twinport office building in Heerlen (NL) offers around 10,000 m2 of luxury office space for companies that demand high standards of comfort and service. This means that the installations and management must also meet high standards. Two years ago, therefore, a phased replacement of the approximately 300 emergency lighting fixtures in the buildings was started with emergency lighting fixtures from Sqippa partner HBI.
Since then, about 100 sustainable and innovative emergency lighting fixtures from HBI have been installed. Via the LoRa node, these are managed in the IoT platform Sqippa-Online.
Sqippa-online meets 'Future-oriented and innovative' objective
Twinport's building manager focuses on the future. Innovation is key for the manager, especially if they invest heavily in improvements and renewals in the buildings. In addition, there was a need to increase management oversight. This arose because they are two separate and rather large buildings that are managed jointly.
In line with this innovative and future-oriented vision, Sqippa partner Paraat Fire Protection introduced the new HBI emergency lighting fixtures at Twinport. The luminaires have a LoRA node for remote management via Sqippa-Online.
Less worry and more service and security
For Paraat, the extra service they can provide via Sqippa-Online in addition to traditional maintenance is very important.
"With Sqippa-Online, you monitor the emergency lighting continuously. This makes maintenance much more efficient. And you can ensure safety even better. Because you have insight into the luminaires every moment and not just during that one maintenance moment a year."
Sqippa-Online has also created a long-term relationship with the customer. Through continuous monitoring and by completely unburdening the customer, you work together more as partners.
"The customer no longer identifies the problem and doesn't have to call us. Before there are problems, we have already recognised them through Sqippa-Online, picked them up and solved them."
Paraat, HBI and Twinport have jointly fine-tuned what information is and is not important to the customer. In fact, the customer can 'look into Sqippa-Online'. This keeps the building owner 'in control', but does not receive unnecessary information and notifications.
