Project: TwinPort Heerlen (NL)

The project

Client: Twinport Heerlen (CADAC Group)
Type of building: Multi-tenant building
Sqippa Administrator: Paraat Brandbeveiliging

Given the size of the building, the owner of the building (CADAC Group) ran into the manageability of, among other things, the emergency lighting luminaires. CADAC Group also wants, as an innovative IT company, to be at the forefront of the latest developments such as Smart Buildings.

Goal

A smart and innovative solution that makes it easy to manage the emergency lighting luminaires.

Approach and result

Participants: Paraat Brandbeveliging (building manager), HBI Bisscheroux (manufacturer)

The luminaires that are '' end of life '' are phased out by the building manager and replaced with the Y-variant of HBI that is equipped with a LoRa sensor. These luminaires then become visible in the Sqippa platform. The building owner has been closely involved and ultimately opted for Sqippa in combination with the service package of Paraat Brandbeveiliging.

The solution proposed by Sqippa partner Paraat Brandbeveiliging has ensured that the building owner can easily control the emergency lighting in the "Twinport Heerlen" multi-company building and has complete transparency and control over the installation.

Phase 1 realized in November 2018: 68 emergency lighting fixtures. Continued in 2019 and 2010 to a total of 270 luminaires with wireless management.
