IoT and network solutions are still very fragmented markets, with many solutions in many countries. An open and standardized solution is required to meet the large and growing demand for connectivity. Sasha explains how this links to Sqippa.
“Sqippa is a strong open IoT platform that connects devices. But the Sqippa connection is more than technology. It is also the community. This is where people and knowledge connect. We are eager to learn from and to contribute to this community.”
Sasha cannot recall if he has seen such a strong, connected, knowledge-based community in IoT before. He is looking forward to experiencing how the community works. For TEKTELIC, it is too early to say if that is the real strength of Sqippa. But it looks very promising.
Working together on a standardized process is the future
TEKTELIC is convinced that the IoT market will change. In the coming five years, it will grow rapidly. Not only in size but also in complexity.
“The number of sensors used is actually still limited. But in five years’ time, you will find them everywhere. They will be integrated into the software and the software makes the decisions.”
Solutions are becoming more and more complex, and there are a lot of parties and agents involved in one solution. The key for the future is working together on a standardized process.
